To become a member, you must fall within our field of membership. Generally, if you live or work between US Highway 301 and the Atlantic Ocean you can become a member. Read more about our membership here.
HOW DO I OPEN A CHECKING ACCOUNT?
To open a checking account, simply click the "Apply Now" button underneath the description of the account you want. Of course, you can always come in to any of our office locations and speak to one of our friendly Member Services representatives.
HOW MUCH IS MY ACCOUNT INSURED FOR?
Your account is federally insured through the NCUA for up to $250,000.
HOW DO I PLACE A STOP PAYMENT ON A CHECK?

WHERE CAN I MAKE A DEPOSIT AFTER HOURS?
You can make after hour deposits at our main office, Baymeadows office, Westside office or our Atlantic office (by way of our drive-thru deposit box), or download our app to make a mobile deposit.

For security reasons, we do not accept address change requests via email or over the phone. Please visit one of our offices or contact us at (904) 296-1292 for an alternative secure method.
WHAT DO I DO IF I FORGET MY ATM OR VISA DEBIT PIN NUMBER?
If you forget your ATM or Visa® PIN number, call 1-800-290-7893 in the US & Canada or 1-206-624-7998 outside the US & Canada.
WHAT IS THE DAILY WITHDRAWAL LIMIT FOR MY ATM OR VISA DEBIT CARD?
Contact Member Services at (904) 296-1292, option 5 for the daily withdrawal limit on your ATM or Visa debit card.
WHAT DO I DO IF MY ATM / VISA DEBIT CARD IS LOST OR STOLEN?
For lost or stolen Visa debit cards, please call our 24-hour center at (888) 297-3416. For lost or stolen ATM cards, please contact Alive Credit Union. Either card must be reported immediately upon noticing it is missing.
WILL I BE CHARGED FOR ATM TRANSACTIONS?
Transactions at Alive Credit Union-operated ATMs are free of charge for Alive Credit Union members.
ARE ONLINE BANKING AND BILL PAY SAFE AND SECURE?
Absolutely! Alive Credit Union has built our online banking system around the latest computer and internet security standards. The Alive Credit Union information systems group, the internal credit union security and compliance department, as well as outside bank regulators and examiners have all reviewed the systems and procedures.
HOW DO I SET UP ONLINE BANKING SERVICES?
When you open a checking or savings account with Alive Credit Union, you are eligible to use our online banking service. From our home page, you can log in to online banking using your member number and password.
WHAT IS MY USER ID FOR ONLINE BANKING?
Your User ID and member number are the same as your account number.
WHAT IS MY PASSWORD FOR ONLINE BANKING?
The first time you log in, you will need to register as a 'New User' and an email with a temporary password will be sent to you at the email address on record. Upon logging in, you can then change your password through the settings tab at the top of the page.
HOW DO I RESET MY ONLINE BANKING PASSWORD?
To reset your online banking password, you will need to click on the 'Forgot Password' link. It will then prompt you to enter your account number and last name. A temporary password will be emailed to the address we have on record. After you receive the email, return to the log in page and click on the 'I have a temporary password' link. If you are unable to reset your password, call Member Services at (904) 296-1292 and select option 5.
HOW DO I TRANSFER MONEY BETWEEN ACCOUNTS IN ONLINE BANKING?
You can transfer money between your accounts (sharing the same account number) by logging into online banking and using the "Account Transfer" option. You can also use the "Scheduled Transfers" option to set up recurring transfers.
I AM HAVING PROBLEMS LOGGING INTO ONLINE BANKING. WHAT CAN I DO?
If you are having problems logging in, please check whether you are using an up-to-date web browser with 128-bit encryption. If you can browse other websites, try clearing your browser's temporary internet files and setting your security and privacy options to their default levels.
IS YOUR BILL PAY SERVICE FREE?
Yes! Bill Pay is a free service to members.
HOW DOES BILL PAY WORK?
Once you are signed up for Bill Pay you will be able to log in and begin creating your list of payees. After you set up a payee, you can schedule a payment and the credit union will send the money to the payee on the date you request. Remember, it is recommended that payments be scheduled at least 2 business days in advance to allow enough time for processing and delivery of the payment.
WHO CAN I PAY WITH BILL PAY?
You can pay just about anyone with Bill Pay. If you pay a bill to a national biller, such as a cellular phone or credit card company, chances are the payment will be made electronically. You can also set up your babysitter or landscape service as a payee. In those cases, where the payee is not set up to receive electronic payments, a paper check will be sent to the payee.
There are some payments such as child support, certain taxes, and court-ordered payments that require a payment coupon or some other document to accompany the payment. For these payments, it's best to dust off the checkbook and send them the old-fashioned way.
AM I ABLE TO SEND A BILL THROUGH "BILL PAY" TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT I HAVE AT A DIFFERENT BANK?
Yes. You will just need to set up the payment like any other payment. Make sure you type in all the required information, including the payee's name and account number.
CAN I SETUP MONTHLY RECURRING TRANSFERS FROM MY ALIVE CREDIT UNION ACCOUNT TO ANOTHER BANK ACCOUNT?
Yes. If you are signed up to use our bill pay service, you can set up recurring payments to another financial institution.

HOW DO I APPLY FOR A HOME EQUITY OR OTHER CONSUMER LOAN?
You can apply for a loan online, in person, or over the phone (904) 296-1292, and select option 4.
CAN I CHECK MY LOAN PAYMENT INFORMATION ONLINE?
Yes. You can view your payment information online including the balance, interest rate, and next payment due.
I HAVE AN AUTO LOAN FINANCED THROUGH YOUR CREDIT UNION. DOES THAT MAKE ME A MEMBER, AND MAY I OPEN AN ACCOUNT?
If you financed your vehicle with Alive Credit Union through a dealership, you are a member and eligible to apply for other credit union benefits. As an indirect lending member, your services can be upgraded to a full membership by signing a signature card and depositing a minimum of $5 to the share savings account.
