Our Credit Union
At Alive Credit Union, we are people helping people bank healthier and live happier by offering a full suite of low-cost financial services. In 2017, we pledge to save our members $2,000,000.00 in fees and interest so that they can do more of what makes them happy.
For over 60 years, we have been committed to serving our community, including the employees of Florida Blue, Baptist Health, Memorial Hospital, UF Health Jacksonville, St. Vincent's HealthCare, the Mayo Clinic, and Ferrara Fire (Hammond, La). Select organizations, including Southeastern Grocers, SteinMart, Inc., Ferrara Fire and Allstate Workplace Division. Additionally, those who work or live east of Highway 301, and anyone who works in healthcare or real estate as well as their family members.
Our membership loves banking where their service representatives know them by name and can be easily reached when needed. Our exceptional service is complemented with the latest in remote and no-cost "on the go banking" services such as mobile apps, mobile deposits, online banking, bill pay and telephone banking.

Our credit union was founded in 1954 right here on the First Coast by a small group of BlueCross employees under the cooperative principle of People helping People. In our early years, only shares and loans were offered; however, over the past 60 years we grew into a financially sound $128M full-service financial institution offering a wide variety of traditional and high-tech services.
Early on in the 1990s we merged in the local Methodist (now UF Health), Memorial and St. Vincent's credit unions. In 2002 when their longtime manager retired we welcomed Baptist Health's credit union membership. More recently, in 2008 Marketplace Federal Credit Union members and in 2012 Space Coast Credit Union's two local offices became part of the Alive family.
Our nine board of directors and five supervisory committee members are volunteers who are elected by our membership. Our diverse group of volunteers is affiliated with our membership groups and represents you, the owners of Alive. You may possess the background and experience needed to be a volunteer at Alive. If you're interested in serving, we'd be happy to give you more information about our volunteers' role in Alive's success.
